The highlight reel
Show trailers give audiences a little more of a sneak peak than a Sizzle Reel. These videos have more of a "plot," using longer clips and show dialogue to give the viewer a peak at the best parts of the show.

Showcasing the unique atmosphere of a place shows future customers what they are missing out on and invites them to come join the fun. By featuring elements of the restaurant, service, product AND including artists and their personalities, the Spoleto Sips series was an impactful marketing tool that connected the social audiences of the festival, restaurant and artists in one piece of content.

Create a comfortable environment and keep the video interesting
I created the Meet The Director series featured on social media. These videos helped to give audiences a behind-the-scenes look at each of the shows in Winthrop's season. When interviewing directors, who are typically the type of people who like to stay unseen, I like to create a relaxed and conversational environment and get them to just have fun and talk about their passion. To keep audiences engaged and provide even more excitement in the video I included rehearsal b-roll throughout the video.

What to expect when you hire me for freelance work:
First Meeting: Project plans and expectations
Do you want to highlight your business? Event? Product? We'll first establish the why so we can further discuss the how. I want to know your vision so I can help you bring it to life!

Video shoot or media sharing
We will set up a method for you to either share existing media with me or for me to come and shoot footage of your project to work with.

Storyboard or rough cut
This is the first sample you'll get to see of the project.
With more story based projects, like a sizzle reel or trailer, I can draft a storyboard to flesh out the narrative and visuals.
(This step may also come before the video shoot for projects that don't already have existing media so we can make sure we get all the shots we need)
With projects like interviews or ones that utilize archived footage I can provide a rough cut of footage or visuals to decide the narrative and visuals that best support the story.

Edits and draft reviews
After we discuss this storyboard/first draft, I'll continue to sharpen the project with finished graphics and visual elements. Throughout this process we will discuss all drafts until we find the best product!

Sharing of the final product
After the final draft is approved, I will be able to export the file with full quality rendering and share it however you prefer.
