Becoming a Renaissance Woman
I seek experience in all forms of theatre to not only expand my skillset and my experience, but also to expand my understanding of these fields and processes. While it is awesome to be able to pick up a tool and do something myself, I think it is vital that I have this knowledge as a leader.
These roles have equipped me to better understand and communicate with designers and artists, as well as given me perspective as to what is feasible on different scales of theatre in order to create appropriate and achievable goals for each production I work on.

Set Construction
Winthrop University Scene Shop
I worked as a TA in the shop for 2 years
We were in charge of constructing the technical elements for Winthrop's Theatre and Dance productions. TAs also helped to instruct students in the practicum class.

Lighting
Spring One Act Festival
Winthrop University | 2021
A collection of 5 devised plays based on folktales
My favorite moments of design are those dramatic climaxes in which I can use a lot of shadows and color to accentuate the moment
Voted best student light design of Winthrop's
2020-2021 season
Sound Design
Fissures (lost and found)
Winthrop University | 2021
This sound was used in a choreographed moment in the show illustrating the childhood of two siblings.
Childhood
Seeing the Light
Fissures (lost and found)
Winthrop University | 2021
This sound was used in the finale of the show as the main character's mind was being flooded with memories before he took his final breath.

Costuming
A Midsummer Nights Dream
Winthrop University | 2020
The fairies in this production were each based on an animal. Elements like fur and animal ears were based on natural elements of these animals, but thrust into the fantasy world of the production with brighter colors and unusual materials.

I was in charge of designing and constructing the costume for the purple fairy, inspired by the Bengal Fox.

Triangles were used throughout the design to mimic the ears and the sharp points of the animals face.

Wide pants were constructed to mimc the larger hind legs.

The vest was elongated in the back to mimic the tail.
