In this position, I was responsible for helping to fill the budget with story ideas, managing writers and editing their stories while also writing some of my own as well.

Journalism and storytelling requires not only accurate information and reliable sources, but an interesting spin that makes a reader care. Pulling them in with a compelling nut graph and keeping them invested until the last word creates an engaged audience and a trusting relationship between reader and writer.
